DWI Police Patrols throughout NH for New Year’s Eve 2013 And January 1st, 2014

Red Happy New Year hat

As the New Year celebration approaches, The NH DWI Lawyers at Tenn And Tenn, P.A. in Manchester remind everyone to drink responsibly this holiday season. New Hampshire State and local police will be conducting DUI saturation patrols and may be conducting DWI sobriety checkpoints throughout New Hampshire this New Year’s Eve (December 31st, 2013). If you are pulled over and suspected of driving while impaired, law enforcement may ask you to take field sobriety tests and/or submit to blood or breath tests. If the police officer believes that you are impaired to any degree, expect to be arrested for DWI.

NH DWI Laws - 2013

In 2013, The NH Legislature made significant revisions to RSA 265-A:2, NH’s drunk driving law. An Impaired Driver Care Management Program, an Ignition Interlock Device, Increased periods of license loss, and heavy fines face drivers accused of DWI in NH. And, DWI is not just Drunk Driving, it includes Drugged Driving.  For more information on NH DWI Laws for 2013, click here

An NH DWI charge can involve impairment not only from alcohol but also from drugs. If you are under the influence of any controlled drug, prescription drug, over-the-counter drug, or any other chemical substance, natural or synthetic, which impairs your ability to drive, you can be arrested for DWI.

Our Manchester, NH DUI Attorneys wish everyone a safe and prosperous New Year. Please drive safely. Please don’t drink and drive. Be responsible, call a cab or designate a sober driver and make it a Happy New Year!
