In New Hampshire, the parties in divorce and parenting cases are required to file a Financial Affidavit. A Financial Affidavit is a form that is signed under oath listing all of a party's assets, debts, income and expenses.
Neither party can waive the filing of the Financial Affidavit. There is a continuing duty to update the Financial Affidavit throughout the case to ensure that all financial information is current.
The Financial Affidavit is one of the most important documents that the Court will rely upon in making financial decisions.
